Brief Description
The latest Sony Alpha with a full frames CMOS sensor. This model is almost identical to its bigger brother the A900. Its got the same 24.6mp sensor, 921k 3.0" LCD and rugged weather sealed body. The slight differences are that the viewfinder has been marginally reduced to 98% coverage rather than the 100% of the A900, and the burst rate has been slightly reduced from 5 for the A900 to 3 for the A850. Still has all the other great features including Super SteadyShot stabilisation built into the body.
